About
Lauren “Fawn” Frontuto is a freelance illustrator, writer, teacher, and deer fanatic currently based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Fawn grew up in a small village just outside of Green Bay, Wisconsin called Luxemburg. She attended Luxemburg-Casco School District until her graduation in 2021. She then moved to Minnesota to study illustration at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD), where she will receive her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in May of this year.
While at MCAD, Fawn has displayed her artwork in multiple solo installations as well as in her school’s main gallery for the annual Made at MCAD exhibition. During her sophomore year, she was selected to participate in the WorkArt Kunstverein Internship Program through the Center for German & European Studies at the University of Minnesota. She spent seven weeks of the following summer as an intern at an art gallery in Germany, the Nassauischer Kunstverein Wiesbaden. In her junior year, she taught a series of beginner drawing classes at The Pillars of Prospect Park and has volunteered for the Art Buddies program at Whittier International Elementary.
Fawn is currently in her senior year at MCAD and working as a Life Enrichment Assistant at The Pillars of Prospect Park. She is available for illustration work after her graduation in the summer of 2025.
Fawn dreams of living in a cute van with a big dog, spending her days traveling, writing novels and comics, and illustrating children’s books. Her hobbies include travel sketching, playing video games, reading comics, watching YouTube, camping, fishing, hiking, and going on walks.
